In more than 20 countries, parent movements are organising almost half a million families who are waiting to give their children a smartphone. Nearly all of these countries now ban phones in school, but only four countries give guidelines on when a child should own one. And no movement has a good answer to how the child should reach their friends in the meantime, without a mobile phone. That is the gap Barnluren fills.
